After excruciating seven years in the making, GIMP 3.0 is finally here. Let’s focus on just the major changes and then have a grown-up conversation about project’s future plans, funding, and the name change.

What’s new in GIMP 3.0
Here are some of the release highlights:
- Layer filters
- Multiple layers selection
- Layer locks
- CMYK exporting / late binding
- Color management updates
- Text outlines
- Better file formats support
- New logo

Yeah, this happened back six months ago?
Yes, it is indicated in the title. We can’t expect update every week on certain software and i wanted to talk about them.
They put the dialog buttons at the top!
I’ll be using 2.x as long as that’s the case.
Maybe there is an option to change those dialog ?
