Ever since I updated to Android 14, I have had issues paying or in general scanning NFC tags with my phone. Even though NFC is always on, I need to toggle NFC off and back on in order to make it work whenever I have to use my phone for paying.

I’ve now succumbed to creating a Tasker task to toggle it off and on whenever I open Wallet, but it seems like a fix for an underlying problem.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I haven’t been able to find anything related to NFC issues for Android 14.
