After almost 4 years in our tiny forest house we recently built what will be a bedroom. Flooring and wall coverings left to do. I can’t wait!
One of my kids’ bedroom was overhauled. New floor, extra insulation in one of the walls, removed an unnecessary bathroom for more space, rewired the electrics.
Seems like a lot of work, well done!
New garbage disposal and replaced the silverware rack in the dishwasher
I put on a new storm door yesterday. Well, I need to finish the trim and door handle this morning.
Installed a Home Assistant with a zwave antenna. Put a smart switch in a fairly large room with no overhead lights, and plugged all the lamps in that room into smart plugs so that I can turn on the lights with a light switch. Takes a second for all the lights to turn on, but it’s a helluva lot better than walking around the room to manually turn on each lamp.
Homemade standing desk, makes a world of difference for just general body health and energy, cant believe i didnt fo this route sooner
my convertible desk has been sitting in a box for a year. maybe it is time…
I can totally recommend it, we weren’t born too sit, we where born to stand. Paying homage to your evolutionary roots comes with huge advantages. Just make sure the desk is tall enough. The recommended height is just a bit under your elbows when you hold your arms flush. Like that the forearms are horizontal when using the desk
Recessed light in most of the common area, with ZigBee Dimmers !
Ongoing - started with 29 foundation piers and replacing cast iron and copper plumbing.
Added a RO system and a new faucet. Called someone in to drill the hole in the countertop. Really wish they made some dual source faucets or something.
I’m just about done with a 3 tiered retaining wall that I started in May. Just need to get the caps on.
