The Gallows Pole: This Valley Will Rise - or Shane ‘This is England’ Meadows does costume drama. The credits are straight from Britannia and it teeters on the edge of farce at times but is definitely entertaining - at least as of the first episode, with the scene between Socha and McShera on the steps being the heart of it.
