    Is it because they couldn’t fit into planes anymore? (This is a reference to the growing (heh!) obesity crisis in Turkey)

    Experts have long viewed autonomous formation flying as one of the toughest hurdles in drone technology.

    I’m sorry, but that is bullshit. Humans have a significantly lower response time, processing speed, and are significantly more expensive to train and keep alive.

    The biggest hurdle was having the curated data, the training algorithm, and the hardware to process the data. Then you need to develop a remote control aircraft that allows for an autonomous system to be installed alongside it. The remote control is easy.

    These aircraft are largly flying sensor platforms with big ass computers in them.
