Half of Americans think ICE is making American cities less safe, CNN poll finds

Most Americans see an immigration officer’s fatal shooting of Minneapolis resident Renee Good as an inappropriate use of force, a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS finds. Roughly half view it as a sign of broader issues with the way US Immigration and Customs Enforcement is operating, with less than one-third saying that ICE operations have made cities safer.

We read a lot of noisy for profit media so it’s hard to tell from the outside of your box looking in. I don’t consider CNN trustworthy but what about the polling company SSRS?

A lot of “undecided” (about what?) is also interesting. Or are they just scared to say one way or the other?

    30% are magats who are all-in with the fascist coup and nothing will change how they see the world. Ever. 50% have some idea about what’s going on. At least enough to realize it’s not good. 20% are too busy watching…I don’t know what’s popular these days, Real Housewives of Cincinnati or scrolling on their phone…to even think. Seems very plausible to me.
