Hi all!

Sorry for the long gap, it’s been an interesting last few months for me, but I hope to up my activity on PieFed again.

However, I’m hoping to find a new moderator for this community. While I’d be happy to stick around and ensure nothing is posted that breaks the rules, I’m hoping to transfer administrator privileges to someone else as I’ve since evolved in my identity a little, and found that I lie elsewhere on the aro-ace spectrum.

While I no longer identify as demisexual, I would like for the person who takes the reigns from here to be someone who does, and is a regularly active user of either Lemmy or PieFed. That way the community remains decently active, is moderated fairly, and has the opportunity to thrive rather than being left behind like other attempts to make a community for demisexuals.

I will also like to ask that whoever takes over has a staunch stance against AI-generated content.

Thanks! I’ll make a fair attempt to keep the community active myself in the meantime.

        Indeed it has, thank you Binzy_Boi! Feel free to remove yourself from the moderator role or from the community if you so wish. Though I would welcome your staying behind for a bit even though, as you’ve said, your identity has evolved.

        And on an unrelated note: Somehow it seems like I can’t react to your comments with an emoji. Just above, I was able to react to Sunshine’s comment without an issue 🤔
