Considering there doesn’t appear to be any actual damage (which there would be… Your ear doesn’t just grow back), it seems more likely there was no real bullet anywhere near him and it was just something like a blood pack used in movies and stage performances so there was blood at the time. Also why he knew it was safe to get up and fist pump the air for photos. And why the Secret Service kept him on stage and let him do that.
No way would Trump ever risk his safety in the line of fire.
The chances of that bullet going just a little to the right would have ended him.
