Just for funsies,
I’m slowly playing through LeafGreen at the moment and I need some mushrooms to optimise the attacks of my team. Has anybody experience which way is the best to get them?
Do I farm the three spots where I can pick them up or do I catch as many Paras as needed or maybe there is an other method I have not thought about?

Do you mean berries? I don’t recall gen 1 remakes having mushies.
You need small and big mushrooms to give to the guy who lets you relearn attacks.
The guy is on Island 2.I never used that guy so I didn’t know they existed.
You catch Paras and Parasect or use thief to get Mushrooms in battle.
You can also have a team full of Meowth so you get extra chances of picking them up if using thief and defeating the Paras/Parasect.
