Apparently, finding a saddle is my new hobby. I have wide sit bones (160 mm or so), I weigh about 89kg, and stand 194cm. (“healthy” BMI)

The only rideable saddles I own are a Velo Plush Hybrid PU leather and an M/L Ergon ST Gel. Smaller saddles are right out (I have a number of those.)

This is for long days on and off road. My last overnighter left me with tender spots. 🙁

Look in to SQlabs saddles. I did 10 000km bikepacking on one and it was great. The one I picked wasn’t especially nice looking but you can buy nicer looking ones.

It isn’t for everyone, some people can’t stand it and it takes some time to get used to it. So maybe it will be good option for you.

I’m testing Brooks leather saddle right now and it is ok too (I bought it mostly for better durability than the SQlabs foam) but it needs to be broken in to a bit and isn’t nice from the start (also the price is quite steep).

I have “wide” sit bones and am on a narrow saddle, Selle Italia SLR Boost 3D S3 on my areo road bike and the Boost Endurance on my gravel, both are super comfy for me and have done multiple 300 - 500km rides. I am around the same height but slightly heavier than you around 95kg.

They do a larger L3 version, but I have found them to grate on the inside of my thighs. The 3D printed on I find keeps me more stable (and is grippier) and the difference in padding is around the same, but the 3D one is very expensive.

I’m riding SMP Well M1, am pretty happy with it and have used it on 6.5 hour ride and aiming longer.

do you have bike shorts? those really help when out on full day rides. genitals can also impact ideal saddle shapes. sorry not a suggestion, just more considerations 😅

I have cheap ones and the padding edge/stitches sit right at my sit bones. My regular boxers and base layers are the same way. That’s a different search.
