This is everything I’ve used since I got my current phone. Right now it’s the Dreamsicle because I have a silicone case that’s a similar pastel orange to the real deal and I’m very keen on theming things.
Hard to go wrong with the pictures of Earth or the Moon from Artemis II.
My desktop background has been the same thing for at least twenty years. A blue, hex #222e45.
$ magick -size 200x200 xc: -background none -fill '#222e45' -colorize 100 out.png
I rarely see it these days, because I use a tiled window manager, and usually there’s some window covering all available desktop space.

“recent”? I dunno. But I’m really enjoying some of these OLED-friendly ones.

And then these OG Xbox and PSX ones that bring all the nostalgia:

These look phone sized. All from Lemmy over the last month.

Oh, that zebra one is a neat effect. I wouldn’t want it as a background, but I do think that it’s nifty from an artwork standpoint.
This one goes so damn hard. I normally don’t do anything weaponry or military related for my backgrounds but this is too cool. And to be honest I like it mostly because of the dragon, tho the image proportions lend themselves well to ultra-widescreen monitors

artist is “Horizon”, source (unfortunately twitter, so here’s xcancel instead): https://xcancel.com/HORIZON65836561/status/1984767369965945246#m
For my laptop, the widescreen version of the Californication album cover.
Actually not sure it was that one specifically. But something about it I find mesmerizing.
