Agreed on the second part. As to the first, and somewhat to the second, I’m learning more about the Fediverse all the time. I also value discussion (especially of the good faith variety), but I understand a lot of people just want to spread news/links/things of interest, not necessarily discuss it.
Ah, good point. We just like to talk a lot about things and learn from others, that’s all.
