    I’m definitely more aligned with Avi Lewis than Naheed Nenshi ideologically, so this guy is on pretty thin ice with me. But considering the alternative they’ve got me over a barrel.

    That said, tying the minimum wage to inflation is one legitimately good policy that I can support without reservation so that’s nice.

      It’s unfortunate that the opposition to a traitor is wet lettuce, but it’s still better than a traitor for sure.

        No strong candidates really ran for party leadership, it was depressing casting a vote in the party election.

          I remember reading in the NDP Subreddit, by someone that tried, that even organizing at a local level and trying to do a ground up change within the provincial party is near impossible because of current incumbents or loyalists just tightening ranks to hold onto their position.

            That tracks. They’re die hard centrists, especially Nenshi. His campaign was talking about mixing orange ans blue to make purple 🤮.

            Wish they’d drop the NDP branding they don’t deserve it.
