    Let me just say that the Powder Gangers are a great source of explosives early on, which are crazy good for fighting off deathclaws and such. Kill them fast enough to grab all the unused explosives.

      Yup, hit them quick, nab their dynamite, maybe craft a few powder charges if you want, then beeline up the 15 to New Vegas. Cripple the legs on whatever decides to chase you.
