This website suggests TravelInsurance.com, WithFaye.com… my family suggests Allianz… What have been other people’s experiences?

I used travelex and they reimbursed me for my emergency surgery pretty quickly so I’d use them again.

Allianz is great. They pay what they say and do it quickly.

@dadarobot @Mountainaire A real life requirement if you dont have medical insurance in the place you are going to. Coming from someone who needed it.

@Mountainaire I’ve used it a few times for me and family members. I got pneumonia, collapsed lung and spent a few weeks in hospital including intensive care. Walked away with Insurance covering everything including my private ensuite room and some pretty good hospital food to boot.

Had my dad in an ambulance for an overnight stay in hospital after passing out and falling in the shower.

Dang, that must have been scary! I hope you’re both feeling better and I’m glad that the insurance worked out well.

@Mountainaire Also pay for an annual car hire excess policy (costs about 2 days of rental car excess cover) and got £1300 damage claim back from them.

Thanks, though this is just for me. I just went to a comparison hub website and got the top result.
