It’s funny, aside from sexual preference this is the only barrier to entry for me with dating.

I’ll be on dating app, see a really pretty girl with a profile talking about how much they love God with that conservative tag.

It’s like all thought of sex is instantly abolished.

Back when I used dating apps I’d see some women say “swipe the direction of your political affiliation!”. Swiping right was to show interest, left was to indicate disinterest.

I very quickly and happily followed their suggestion

It’s like that old episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, where Larry finally gets with the dream girl (the one his wife gave him a “free pass” for if he could somehow manage to woo her)… and she invites him into her room… and on her bedside table is a framed photo of Dubya.

I don’t know, I’ve encountered christian women who believed in the whole “loophole”-thing, so they only did anal and oral because they were “saving themselves” for marriage. That’s obviously batshit crazy, but as a 22-year old single dude it was pretty hot. I wouldn’t complain today(20 years later) either.

When I was dating, my test for Christian women was that I said I wouldn’t go to church with their family on Christmas. The crazy true believers would act like I was talking about strangling grandma. The sane ones would just be confused about why anyone would invite me to church. It was a super interesting and very reliable dichotomy.
