Embraer’s Eve Air Mobility activated the company’s electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft pusher propulsion system in its first partial transition flight.
On August 3, 2026, the eVTOL developer said its engineering prototype flew for three minutes and nine seconds, supported by the pusher propulsion system.

What am I missing that this is impressive?
The basic demonstration of an aircraft in a unique flight profile for the first time and having it perform normally is a major step especially when we are talking about a new class of aircraft in general.
