And Hermione becomes a furry.
No one hates like a self-hating closeted person, I’m like 99% sure she’s got something queer going on and it’s fueling her internalized queerphobia
i think at some point she said her father wanted a son instead of a daughter, which i bet didn’t help her self-identity
Low key, this actually represented a significant breakthrough in special effects compositing for the time. While the doppelganger bit has been a staple of film SFX for ages, this was the first time ever that they managed to pull off seven of them at once.
Fuck terfs.
Agent smith in the matrix? Granted most where fairly static, but there were loads of him.
That specific effect was a CGI animated crowd (as well as a literal army of stunt doubles), made much easier by the fact that Smith was designed to be nondescript and easily duplicable. Add in some strategic blurs, shadows, and camera angles (not unlike the kind used in old monster movies and slashers to hide the Guy In A Rubber Suit), and the illusion will still pass.
The Seven Potters scene had a LOT of magic going on behind the scenes. Also, required one actor learning how to mimic the mannerisms and movements of six other actors.
Still, fuck terfs. I’m just a huge nerd about special effects.

“I look fantastic in women’s clothes”
Lol.
And something completely unrelated:
Crabbe and Goyle regularly run around as schoolgirls.
