Hi Lemmy mods, Is there a way to ban an account that never posts in a group, but reports other posts with some Dwazou reason that sounds like a reddit reason. I ignore but wish it would stop. pretty sure its a bot or a real weird person. 🤖

    it’s like the bot just targets certain accounts and reports all their posts in w/e community. seems like a lemmy loophole. like can’t appoint a mod who has never posted in the group. context menus don’t give any mod options for reporters.

    I got a report on one of my comms today. The Alexandrite UI apparently allows you to ban a user from a report:

    The default Lemmy web UI does not present this option, nor does Photon.
