Its was actually kind of depressing when I first switched, there was a level of “life” that having an algorithm felt like it brought. But I got used to not having it and my brain kind of leveled out. Now when I see someone else’s YouTube home page I’m disgusted.

Just use clients like newpipe or pipetube, etc. You only see what you subscribe to.
