“And this is the living room of eternal twilight, where shadows and motes of light dominate the senses. The floor was redone in 2021.”

Am I not supposed to prefer a dark comfortable room to watch TV in? I hate bright rooms in general and bright living rooms in particular. The shadows are soothing and relaxing. This room looks comfortable to me.

For your actual living space it’s fine, it’s just shitty as a seller’s photo. It’s hard for a buyer to see what sort of space the room would give them.

You’re supposed to be able to see the room clearly in realtor photos. How you light your home when you’re in it is entirely up to you.

“We didn’t want light to interfere with the POTENTIAL of this room! Just IMAGINE all of the possibilities! It’s so much easier to visualize in your mind when you don’t have to actually SEE anything.”
