The Dems very reluctantly agreed after getting caught off-guard by Trump’s remarks (with popular support behind it), and made up all sort of excuses that Trump already gave you $600 the year prior, so $1400 is the max you’re gonna get.

Don’t forget that Biden personally said that if you elect the Dem Senate candidates in Georgia, you get $2000 checks.
