    That stikes me as an awfully cynical take, not everyone was around for the original release. And being alone, watching a compressed stereo stream at home is just not the same experience. I’m curious how you might celebrate the 40th anniversary differently?

      lol nice edit 🤦‍♂️ The theatre experience has been vastly degraded since Covid. The price to fun experience ratio is out the fucking window. You can watch it from home with some friends or rent out a damn screening room and have a whole night of movies. You can download the full quality film and have zero issues. Also most people who give a shit about movies have sounds bars or full surround sound. Which have better audio balance than theatres.

      Don’t need to get swept up in a marketing gimmick to enjoy old movies.
