Titles like:

“Describe my X in one word.”

“Say yes if you would X”

“My X told me my Y are too Z. Thoughts?”

“X or Y, which one do you choose?”

“Do X like my Y?”

I have seen them all over on Reddit, and have started to see them popping up here. To me these feel like pretty blatant click/upvote bait. I see no problem with content creators posting, but should there be some restrictions in place?

I dont mind nsfw-posters, I just wish the agents posting these would stop repeating the exact lines you mentioned.

If I had to guess they aren’t from the creators themselves but a promotion service. They are annoying mostly because they are not genuine.

Yes they’re terrible because they work. I remember one thing I liked about /r/aww was they banned titles like “Are iguanas allowed here?” Or “isn’t my Fido cute?” It helped the sub’s quality and I think it was one of the best default subs over on that website.

Describe my X in one word.

    Can’t.

Say yes if you would X

    yes if you would X

My X told me my Y are too Z. Thoughts?

    No, no thoughts.

X or Y, which one do you choose?

Is it too much to ask for both?

    Do X like my Y?

Why is the title a rhetorical question, huh? 🤨
