A Nigerian woman who wrote an online review of a can of tomato puree is facing imprisonment after its manufacturer accused her of making a “malicious allegation” that damaged its business.
Yeah, the amount of sugar and crap companies are allowed to put in food is insane. In this context though I was referring to informational regulations - ingredients and nutrition information is required for pretty much everything. It doesn’t look like Nigeria has the same requirements, so it’s hard telling what is in that tomato paste.

Sure they can’t lie about main ingredients but they can insert shit like “natural flavour” which can be anything and no way for pleb to tell what he or she is really eating.
They don’t call American food goy slop for no reason. It takes a high degree of sophistication to navigate American grocery store. And even than some shit will slip into your food.
