As you may know, we recently joined 8829 subreddits in protest against the upcoming API changes. You can read more about this here.
Reddit has shown it’s unwilling to budge on the API pricing. This was possibly due to how the site-wide blackout was announced to only last 2 days allowing Reddit to just grit their teeth for these few days.
Reddit has only stoked the flames during this controversy by spreading lies about the Apollo developer threatening and blackmailing them, not appropriately addressing our concerns and threatening to forcibly remove dissident moderators.
