False flag setup?

I’m waiting for Trump to tell him how incredibly ungrateful he is for not supporting Trump’s drive to increase US production/Trump’s bank account.

Mega supporters might be coming to the realization that Trump and his fascist machinery will turn on them as fast as they have on anyone else. They don’t have any power and as soon as the easier targets are gone that bullseye will switch to them. Probably will lose their cherished guns and “right to battle tyranny and govt outreach” long before they truly understand what they have willingly handed over to Trump and Co.

Not sure if anyone on here works for any of the major Canadian grocery chains however if you do, could you clearly show everything that is made in or comes from the USA. That way we know to buy anything but those items. If I can’t easily tell, I’m just avoiding it but that might mean I’m missing buying things that are either Canadian or any other country of origin because I mistakenly think they might be American. Then again, my shopping is currently running less than it was in 2024 mostly from avoiding buying things, so maybe that’s a win?

I’m not one who would ever attend a SuperBowl however I imagine many people who would aren’t unhappy that Trump will give it a miss.

US does a large amount of business with China but are against Canada having the same opportunities. Fuck the US. China may be as bad but that doesn’t make the case for continuing to do business with the US. We can sell what the US wants to buy but our government cannot make us buy US products.

Didn’t they say they were aiming for 100M deported?

It’s pretty much the only country we’ve ever had to worry might one day attack us.

Appeasement of the establishment is what got Americans to this point. The only way out it to do something that they haven’t done before. From what many Americans post, their lives are already on perma hold.

Canada needs to do a major shift away from the US. They (government, not necessarily people) are only our ‘friends’ when we subordinate all of our policy to their wants. Trump isn’t new on this front, just so childish that it has become impossible to ignore. Even our prior ‘free trade’ was more about the US controlling Canadian business and innovation than actual free trade. Canadians are forced to buy far more American goods per capita than the US has ever bought of Canadian goods. For all the hand wringers worried about China spying on us, or dealing with countries that have human rights issues we disagree with, all that can be said about US and even more. Why people think we should continue to appease them, I don’t know. It won’t stop an idiot like Trump trying a military takeover if he feels like it, so we are better to be less tied to them to begin with. I wasn’t too sure about Carney but I liked his speech in Davos. I hope he continues on that road.
For many of us an accurate line would be “I don’t buy American products anymore.” Yes we used to spend money on American products and still have them. But many of us are now going without if we can’t find a Canadian version (or any other country) that makes the product we want. After Trump’s repulsive tantrum at Davos, it will be a long time until I willingly spend money that benefits the US.

I’m guessing that the people who buy actual Champagne in the US don’t notice the price and won’t notice the tariffs. Plus $100, $200, $1000 per bottle - whatever.

I didn’t think anyone could make Kim Jong Il (or Kim Jong Un) seem comparatively rational and genius in a single note.
Rather than a front page obit wouldn’t it be great if Congress and Senate just did their job and legally removed him.

So what that Chinese subsidize their EVs. The US subsidizes most of their industry.
It’s really tiring for people to say what about China doing X, which the US already does in spades.

If any band has enough fans to have a “fandom”, they deserve it. You still never have to listen to them or buy their music and that is fine as well. Anyone who names a band they dislike, probably has one they like that others on here hate. Big deal. Everyone has their own taste. All hype is, well, hype. It is all manufactured.
I didn’t say it makes sense. For me, it doesn’t. Just pointing out that that is how the Christian religion believes it to be.

No not even for whites necessarily but for the rich and those who will willingly serve the rich.
Yes China sucks to do business with. However currently they suck a tiny bit less than dealing with Trump’s constant tantrums and the rest of the USA sycophants.
