Might be normal, but its also why these institutions aren’t useful in resisting genocide

Arguably, most of Western Romans were all Germanized already anyway
Aita is a new (or at least previously uncategorized) genre of fiction.
So, definitely fake
Even if you’re voting Harris et al., don’t you think they should be called out for supporting genocide? Have you even tried to convince Biden or Harris or your reps in Congress to stop supporting genocide?
Moreover, once they know that they can get enough votes and win while supporting genocide, then they’ll know they can do anything and have enough votes to win. While all paths lead to increasingly fascistic governance in the US, the path you’re advocating is the most accelerationist scenario.
Feel this has to be because Bezos thinks Trump has a decent shot at winning and doesn’t want to be in his bad side.

Are any of them cool? Or are they all arguing over which Hitler to vote for?
This site was initially chapo.chat but they decided to change the name (shortly after I joined, so I dont really know all the details) presumably because they wanted to distance themselves from chapo (see op). Why they chose the shortlived ‘hexbear’ meme for the name? I’m not sure.
I listen to them regularly on my commute.
So we’re at this point of the hexbear discourse cycle again?
I don’t really see the benefit to changing it, especially for most of the reasons you mention. I don’t think the chapos are libs and I’m not sure what you mean by “cringe.”
I agree it does feel anachronistic, but that’s kinda how culture works. Things from the past hang around even after the origins are lost
Edit: honestly, the hexbear meme from the dying days of the subreddit becoming the site name seems stranger and more out of place to me. But I think we’re kinda stuck with that too
Either (1) which ever one is polling highest or (2) it doesn’t matter.
I’m going with ‘doesn’t matter’ and will just do a vibes check
Love the about page with the big Lenin pic
He’s partly right. We wanted to just punish cyber truck owners, but couldn’t only target them and decided the first two groups were acceptable sacrifices.
I really doubt homeschooling has much to do with it. Some subset of every gen is good with tech.
The one homeschool kid Im working with this semester is terrified to use the telephone. Their entire experience in home school education was largely sitting in virtual classrooms
Its definitely not all students and, in reality, I believe every generation has been deskilled to diff degrees. So, while these skills are noticeably worse with Gen z than it is with millennials, many young people I meet come to college with some or all of these skills.
So I think you could go with a less extreme intervention lol
Teaching college students, I agree that phones and ‘need’ are largely the culprit.
Loss of typing skill, trouble shooting skill, and file directory skill.
Better at cameras generally

Once they ended zero COVID, this was inevitable
Working as a server doesn’t require you to pay for special insurance, working as a server doesn’t require replacing tires, and brake pads, and windshield wiper blades, and regular oil changes, and not killing random people by accident.
For most servers (and most jobs) all of these things are required, just less, since the only way to get to work for most people is to drive
Oddly, I have gotten very few human texters, or even bots, this time.
It’s mostly just messages blasted out with donation link.
