It is, I just meant even if thats the only part another launcher replicates I would be fine with that.

Honestly i would just be happy with the short press launch/swipe up open folder option, I like using folders that dont look like folders.

7·10 days agoMan, I have used that site so many times to relace shoes to be more comfortable - my spouse was given a pair that was unusable until I relaced them with one of the designs meant to help with the issue she was having, and even just last week I used the pattern that puts both ends on the outside of the shoes on a new paid I got.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•[Deck] A Linux Power User Puts SteamOS To WorkEnglish
4·12 days agoLast I checked, bazzite’s installer is using the broken version of the timezone list that doesn’t even include west coast timezones, nor do they provide a way of manually specifying the timezone, which tells me their attention to detail isn’t great.
Also, having 10 different iso’s with differences that an entry level user has no real need to care about, instead of including it in a bundled installer doesn’t help either.
Not to mention having 8 fully different program installation repos, with 8 different front ends, and an explanation of ‘try installing your program in each of these in the following order, and use the version that works best’, flatpacks being at the top of the list, recommending using an entire VM in the form of distrobox over using appimages, and just in general needing a flowchart to explain how to install things.
These, and other reasons, are why I cannot in good consciousness, recommend bazzite to non-power users, and get annoyed seeing people do so all the time.

2·15 days agoThis level of control is only good when you can bulk disable, or its opt-in. When its opt-out with individual clicks, its trash.
Or buy packs of ‘living lettuce’ and keep it on your counter with water
Lightning up the ass->penetration being a punishment for sins->priests having a very long history of paedophilia
Also the priest implying its a sin to even hear these questions, and that he would receive divine punishment too.
Edit: Right, and its a reference to the fact priests dont believe anyone should question things, just keep their head down like a good little lamb
to the slaughterhouse
It… Really isn’t though? It is used on government road signage in the US. Its in the US dictionary and has been for decades.
Not sure how that counts as ‘slang’.

Electric Vehicles@slrpnk.net•Dutch students create modular electric car "you can repair yourself"English
2·16 days agoIn BC you only need a regular inspection if your vehicle is for commercial use, or business use over 8000kg.
Other than that, you only need an inspection if you purchased it over 6 months ago in another province… And that’s mainly Alberta’s fault.
Thats how Americans think through is spelt. Its even in their dictionary!

The mark as read feature (rightly) considers any interaction with the post as being ‘read’.

Electric Vehicles@slrpnk.net•Dutch students create modular electric car "you can repair yourself"English
69·17 days agoNot really - being easy to repair also means that its easier for shops to repair, which is becoming a problem lately as companies are purposefully making it harder to service EV’s outside of their designated facilities.
