Remember that Iran is currently providing drones to Russia, so it’s not as if they are fully separate threats. There are the Trump cases that are objectively easy to prosecute (especially the stolen document case), since the law is clear and no good lawyer wants to represent Trump. Here the DOJ has clearly been dragging his feet for reasons that are unrelated to the legal system.

Then there are these antitrust cases that are objectively EXTREMELY complex, and where the legal arguments have to be very carefully constructed to withstand a challenge from the best lawyers money can buy. Complain about the former, not the latter

Tariffs tend to make all sides poorer. We benefit from cheap imports, because those imports serve as inputs to our companies. Additionally, tariffs on our side tend to be matched by tariffs on the other sides which will hurt exports. There’s no realistic scenario where a broad tariff benefits the local economy.

I never really get why those types of subsidies should go through the corporate tax. Want to subsidise domestic production? Provide a wage subsidy to companies that employ American workers. The corporate tax code should be as clean and simple as possible.

So much wrong with this post. First, the US does not have a VAT. Second, why would you ascribe an employees wages to the employer? Isn’t it the employees skills that earns them a wage? Third, what do you even mean with “undocumented “ migrants taking out of the system? They are undocumented and thus don’t have access to social security/medicaid etc.

That’s a very interesting poll because in the end HRC got 48 percent of the vote, or 2 percentage points more than in this poll, while DT got 46 percent, 11 percent more than in the poll. One explanation could be that undecided, Johnson and Stein voters changed their minds and (mostly) voted for Trump.
