Yup. Doesn’t feel widely popular yet but I think it will increase especially thanks to Sony discontinuing physical releases. My family luckily is getting there too.

Started this year with CDs, games, vinyl, books and DVDs. Buying second-hand is great too; sure, streaming looks “cheaper” at first glance but I can do with my property what I want and don’t lose it if I can’t afford a subscription, the service goes down or they lose licenses. It’s preservation, too, and if need be can be lent out to others.

Plus, I’m just discovering the joys of making my own mixtapes and burning CDs. Spotify playlists are… good, of course, but it feels like an actual thing now.

Can’t even call that a lack of empathy. Voting for a pedophile is outright monstrous.

Always eyeing someone suspicious who basically says that they would murder, steal and rape if it wasn’t for their religion.

Extrovert/Introvert have lost all meaning because people are equalizing extrovert with = loud chatty ADHD stereotype and introvert with = shy antisocial autism stereotype. It’s also not useful to use these labels because MOST people aren’t any of the extremes but in-between.

They won’t flop. Fallout fans are starved and will eat anything singleplayer at this point.

They will release 1:1 the same games just with updated graphics. Not a complaint but unfortunately these aren’t remakes so we won’t see any of the great cut content we’d like to see.

Open Freeside with less loading screens would be cool. Travelling from inside buildings or caves. Maybe some of the named NPCs getting unique voice actors this time around. Autumn’s voice actor is funny but his line delivery is still flat in a bad way lol. Less invisible walls so you can try to climb some of the mountains if you are bored. 3 remaster being released without the ending where you HAVE to sacrifice yourself and Fawkes not blaming us for not wanting to die.

Hopefully they keep the original New Vegas/3 skill and perk system. HATE what we have in 4 and 76.

Perhaps, at the very least in the credits, mentions of Benny’s and Mr. House’s voice actors since they have passed away as they really made the original game special.

So, 4 Fallout games?! I am very much NOT normal about this.

Sounds absolutely ridiculous. Even if you look at it through a narrow lense of “man weapon woman… baby??” being buried with weapons doesn’t have to mean one was a warrior.

So, is it supposed to be like a spin-off or Fallout 5? Because it sounds more like another spin-off to me.

Anyway, I’m thrilled that there is any non Fallout 76 news at all. Holy shit.

Boardgames I would love to have but nobody I know has any interest in them and has last played one in childhood.

But the DVD/CD thing is really neat. Thrifting in stores or online in general has become a lot of fun and I’ve gotten family into it as well, especially with CDs and vinyls. Also saves a lot of money and it helps with prioritizing what you are really interested in. I still have the occasional streaming service but looking at which movies/series/music we own physically, I may be more selective if only physical products are available. Not having to worry about content suddenly disappearing due to licensing rights is MUCH better anyway.
