Yes! Sub Rosa is so ridiculous and so amazing at the same time. I love it.
There are so many great episodes spread throughout the series! Season 6 is my personal favorite with episodes like the Chain of Command two parter, Relics, Frame of Mind, and Tapestry. Along with some some of my favorite sillier episodes like Rascals and Fistful of Datas.
Man, that’s rough. My wife’s Chevy sonic has a shiny bow tie in the middle of the steering wheel that I swear was perfectly designed to shoot sunlight straight into your retinas.
Wow, that doesn’t sound like a cult at all! Sign me up!
Seriously, this is just silly
100%. That’s probably the biggest gripe I had initially. Finally wrapped my mind around the fediverse as a concept (more or less) just in time to get booted from my login over and over trying to subscribe to some communities
I’m still enjoying it here, but I could see someone less determined ditching over something like that.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is the fediverse and the threadiverse the same thing different names?
I feel like I’m finally wrapping my head around a lot of this stuff, but I’m still learning all the terms.
As someone currently on that journey, I’m thinking it’s well worth it! I started with TNG since that’s what I grew up watching and I’ve made it as far as the last season of ENT. Everyone talks bad about VOY and ENT, but honestly I think they’re great too in their own ways (although TNG will always be the goat in my book).
I’ll also add that part of what got me so hooked on it was listening to the podcast The Greatest Generation along with it. The extra running jokes and silly headcanon stuff really added a fun extra layer to everything! Helped me get through some of those rough early episodes too.
I work in the office side of a distribution center. I’m far from technologically illiterate, but my knowledge drops off a cliff when I get outside my comfort zone. I know enough not to bother IT most of the time, so I count that as a win.
Reddit killing the 3rd party apps pissed me off a little bit, but their AMA about it really made me start looking for alternatives. So here I am!
