That’s true. I was more thinking of things on a day-to-day basis, though, since my experiences were mostly anecdotal.

Not sure about the others but bigotry against ethnic minorities within China is pretty much unheard of. Wishing genocide against Taiwan is a pretty big ? too, since most see Taiwanese people as just… Chinese people. That would be like saying Russians want to commit genocide on Donbass. Bigotry against black people might be a problem, although I saw a few black people in China and nobody really seemed to care. (Although racists don’t attack black people on the streets in the US either}

Saw someone from my school earlier who was pro-palestine post something about the Xinjiang Genocide on her instagram story. It was pretty much just an afterthought in a list of modern genocides (most of which I presume were real), but still.
