Honestly I don’t remember ever hearing anyone mention Transistor since it released either. Hades definitely proved that they aren’t one hit wonders.
I’m not Admiral Patrick of the former dubvee.org I just play along to waste the time of those who believe they are successfully harassing him.

I am a patient gamer™ to the max but if you’re going to pay a higher price for any game this year, this is the one IMO.

Besides that, my only complaint with this game (and it is minor) is that I just can’t stand the UE5 slop anymore. I think Expedition 33 did possibly the best job I’ve ever seen with engine (the weird, amorphous detailed-but-generic textures didn’t detract as much as they usually do because of whole the painting-like aspect) but with everything else, like gameplay and story as strong as it was I would have preferred anything, even a low-res low-poly look.

Nah, I didn’t even know about Tesseract until they made a stink. I’m just someone annoyed by the witch hunting that admins let run rampant. I think it’s a real shame that one of the few people actually contributing to fedi accessibility was bullied into silence by the same broken people who make lemmy so repellent in the first place.

Are you like, being a dick or are you being sincere?

This has to be the first time in history that the memes were wrong
I dunno, I think it was half as cohesive.

“The incident” is a real polite way of describing a coordinated harassment and cyberbullying campaign against an individual, but you seem like you’re being sincere so I’ll tell you I’m not that dude nor do I know them.

If you don’t like moderation you will hate the feviderse the entire system is built from tiny fiefdoms
why are you so confrontational lmao I don’t interrogate your tastes
Looks awesome thanks for sharing
This is exactly what I was curious about, I’d never heard of these. Thanks!
Guess I’m not True Gamer™ enough for you sorry!
Lmao imagine asking someone on Lemmy if they like trains OF COURSE I LIKE TRAINS GREAT RECOMMENDATION
One of the few times I played around with VR was a racing game and it was awesome, but I’m not a big racing games person so my concern is that the $1200 headset would not add much value beyond the quick thrill of adding VR to a few games
Oh I would 100% get that one but also I’m not looking to spend $1k purely on VR novelty games

Gritty, even!
This has been true for a few years now, but indie studios have been making far more interesting games than the big studios. Add to that the fact that big AAA projects need to tack on tons and tons of money-making add-ons that degrade the experience in order to justify the cost of a decade of development, and the industry seems to actually be trending towards the artistry and innovation you mentioned.
