  • “This comic made me remember a Darwin awards case I read a while ago”*

I’m just trying to teach grammar and spelling, not busting your balls over it. It’s clear English isn’t your first language, same as me, just showing the correct (I think) way to write that sentence.
You did nothing wrong, I just saw an opportunity to show improvement and hope it helps. Continue learning, of course jot only English grammar and spelling but everything in life.

  • Wild guess, you’re American? Because every story I hear about self checkouts in the US is this. Meanwhile in actual first world countries where they are modern systems you very rarely have any of these issues. Even my experiences in Croatia and Spain from 20 years ago had solved most of this (and please, I’m not dissing them. I’m a Swede and my experience is just that Scandinavia is on the forefront of stuff like this.) I haven’t had to grab the attention of a worker for so many years, and from what I see with other shoppers it’s the same for them. The workers seem bored if anything because they so rarely have to help someone even with one person minding twenty of them at the larger stores.

  • Which makes them winning (sadly slowly, but still doing it) so much more impressive. They’re fighting an invasion of their country where the enemy has no moral obligations but they themselves need to be real fucking careful about what they do, even for stuff within their country. As far as I know they have only attacked Russian infrastructure and military sites with reason within Russian borders. Meanwhile Russia have bombed and shot at hospitals, apartment buildings, kindergartens, shopping malls with people standing in line to get the little produce available etc. But they’re still beating them. It’s slow and it fucking sucks so much how much they have lost, but they’re still doing it.

  • I have not once seen a picture like this, and “guide” ones, that doesn’t have several glaring issues.
This one started really good, then brave pops up, then proton, then AI…

Why is it so fucking hard to look up the stuff you’re using? How are you aware of several of these that are not well known yet somehow not aware of how bad brave is? It’s just so weird every single time.

  • I have such a hard time with this. I just can’t get myself to be ok with repeating the same shit over and over just to have a kinda normal life.
I know this is partially because of my anxiety, which makes my body be in an almost constant state of “this is the last day so nothing matters other than survival” or “this is the last day so consume and spend everything you have as tomorrow won’t exist”, but it’s also something I just don’t like. I can’t stand the repetition and no matter how hard I try to keep a “normal” life with cleaning my apartment, keeping a good sleep schedule, saving for stuff, have any sort of long term feeling for anything it just doesn’t click.
I’ve always been in survival mode and even after close to 20 years of long term sick leave and doing my best all that time to get away from that it has never even come close to happening.

I’ve noticed that people flirt with you so much more when you’re in a relationship. And from talking with female friends about it, it’s about them feeling you’re safe because of it. I understand it but don’t like it, flirting with someone you know is in a relationship is ficked up. I’ve never cheated and never will, I’ve ended friendships because of it (them cheating on their partner). It’s just so fucking evil IMO, I’d break really badly if someone ever cheated on me.
