“bashing” is stupid, too. It implies that people are just arbitrarily attacking poor defenseless conservatives over nothing just for the sake of it. No, they’re being criticized with very good reason. If they want to “work together”, maybe stop electing fascist morons and we can go from there.

I think where she lives, if the phone company ceased service the cable company would still provide an option. No idea about line maintenance or other issues though.

The issue for me is also receiving calls. It gets complicated to have multiple numbers or to have to use forwarding when you’re home or not.

My mother would be so confused. She still uses landlines with wireless receivers and an answering machine. She doesn’t seem to understand the concept of only having a cell phone.

I don’t even think they care about that. They just care if they win. If they can convince a bunch of other groups to vote for them, as long as they can be tricked into staying enslaved, fine. They look down on non-wealthy whites almost as much as every other group.

Republicans have been dreaming and working on the same shit for decades. Pretty much, completely destroy the environment for the benefit of rich people, and fuck everyone else.

It’s true, the non stop ridiculous abuses and coverups of the Trump administration far eclipse what happened in Watergate. However, the only reason they get away with it is because Congress and the Supreme Court are in it with them.

It’s fairly unclear what they really want and I think they’re too stupid to have a clear idea of something that would even work. They can’t really think the country could function after they removed everyone who isn’t their idea of white?

Trump also frequently makes claims with “we are the only country stupid enough to…” while many other countries do the exact same thing he is decrying. They’re relying on the broad ignorance of their voters.

Also, this utter sleazebag claiming he believes in the sanctity and purity of voting is revolting.

That’s not my point though. It’s that he did have a legal punishment in effect.

I’ve seen a lot of stuff posted saying “just a reminder that the only person punished for Epstein files was a woman!“. But it seems like the people saying that forgot that Epstein himself went to prison and then died.

They have only released half of them, heavily redacted. The Trump admin is violating the law by keeping the rest hidden.

Not a great comparison as the Trump tower is one building while the Obama Library is an entire complex.
