Funny how they skip the longest period of cultural organization of homo sapien sapien (pre-agriculture, 100,000+ years worth) and go straight to single cell organisms

1·4 months agoY’know, this would make a lot of sense. I can try it! It’s puzzling though that argus wouldn’t have this in their documentation though (I’ve looked)

2·4 months agoCool, thanks for the rec! Is there an easy way to view release notes? For cupdate and cup i had to open a new tab and go to the release page myself to see if there were breaking changes or whatever. This became annoying with many services

Our leaders are literally aliens. I mean the people are flesh and blood human but they represent and work on behalf of an emergent entity, new to this earth, whose values and priorities often run contrary to those of humans and the rest of the biosphere

122·7 months agoI think the top 2 comments i see ascribing this to ‘hate’ and ‘cruelty’ are missing the point. This literally is better for the capitalists’ bottom line. This can be entirely attributed to profit. The threat of violence (homelessness, etc) that the working class is kept precipitously close to powers this whole machine. If everybody was housed the threat of poverty would have less material consequence. Cruelty is not the point, in this case. Neither hate. Simply profit. Which in many ways is much more cold and insidious

171·8 months agoI’m enthusiastic about opportunities for pan-leftist collaboration in the face of outright fascism across western states. I think a trial period is sensible. This may even benefit folks that are against federation with ml because this will generate more evidence to support defederation if they deserve it. I feel like this re-evaluation is warranted given the (i expect) influx of lemm.ee users to dbzer0

I mean its a spectrum and many private trackers are much further down the trust side than the pirate bay
