  • Actually it was the GC game Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem. It was a game about unraveling the mysteries of the murder of your uncle that devolves into fighting the old gods.

I love it and come back to it every so often, I even still have a GameCube squirreled away for it, but I’d rather play it on my Deck more often than not.

I’m sure I’ll catch hell for this, but I use AI to learn how too do something kinda new for me, and it makes the process much easier than butlarian purists would like.

Example: I know how to program/script in a few languages, and I used AI to help me with a new one. I’m currently doing this with JS so I can automate some VTT actions.

Sure I could have spent hours researching and figuring out the annoyances of the language. Or I can have a bot give me the first few macros, read them, run them a few times, and use that as the skeleton of the next macros.

It’s completely possible to use what the AI gives you as a springboard for your own learning if you choose to better yourself along the way instead of just letting it do all the work for you. I mainly use AI as a rubber duck/reviewer to help fix mistakes or learn new concepts. But the bot never has control of anything that executes or access to my full codebase (or even full files).

  • Don’t mistake “this is fucking stupid” for “I don’t get why this person is doing this”.

I completely understand there are men who are so weak willed or bound by Sky Daddy that they can’t handle interactions with women, but that’s not an excuse for the behavior. If I was part of a sect that didn’t allow alcohol, I wouldn’t work where I’d regularly come into contact with it.

If these chucklefucks can’t interact with half of their potential clients, they shouldn’t be doing the work.

Man, you just proved so many negative assumptions about the dumbass boomers in one go. Congrats, I’m honestly impressed how much of a stereotype you are.

Observing the stunted development of someone going through all that is leagues away from gramps calling kids a bunch of pussies for not working in a coal mine.

Classic ignorant boomer thinking they know anything and are super confident about it. The ‘no one wants to work’ meme isn’t just stunted growth, it’s literally the capital class whining about not being able to abuse people like they used to. Like, ironically the phrase started out as people bitching about a coal mine closing:

“No one wants to work anymore” is a result wage stagnation. Living at home into your late 20’s is also a result of wage stagnation.

Just absolutely wrong. This has been a cudgel of those in power to help keep the poors in line by turning the stupidest among them against the people who actually fight to improve things, and has been for over 130 years:

So fuck off with your stupid bullshit, you ignorant clown.

I’m not taking your comment personally, just pointing out that this is the same shit I heard like 20 years ago from boomers when I worked fast food/retail.

Your observation isn’t new or incisive, it’s the same tired boomer bullshit we’ve been hearing for decades. This is right up there with No OnE wAnTs To WoRk AnYmOrE, we can see through it like fucking glass.
