I feel like they are putting the spotlight on this to distract from the bombing of the Iranian embassy and they’re not going to cut support to Israel in any meaningful way, although I’d love to be proven wrong.
I just feel so sorry for the kid.
Bringing up Chinese debt trap diplomacy in geography class. I was really proud of it as well.
Hot. No extras, just coffee. If you have to thin down your coffee with milk and sugar you shouldn’t be drinking coffee.
I remember seeing an interview with an ex Israeli intelligence guy who admitted that they funded Hamas in the beginning. It’s probably true but it’s not a good talking point imo since it leans heavily into the “both sides bad” trope.
I can very much relate. Y’all are great🥰
If only all of those “cultural Marxists” were actual Marxists😔
I don’t mean that it’s impossible but the timing seems weird. Western media is still running with ISIS, which isn’t impossible but if they are responsible it seems very likely that they were backed by the US. So why would they decide to carry out attacks in Europe now? I don’t see how that would serve their interests, although I guess the same is the case for previous attacks on European soil. Still, given how ISIS is pretty much gone at this point and is likely dependent on CIA/Mossad backing would they be allowed to carry out attacks in Europe? Maybe I’m missing something tho, this whole ISIS thing is admittedly breaking my brain so if you can make sense of it I’m happy to listen.
“Heroic Struggle, Bitter Defeat: Factors Contributing to the Dismantling of the Socialist State in the USSR” by Bahman Azad is a very good read that I think is not that well-known. Highly recommend.
Uniroically European politics in a nutshell
Me too 😃
I found it a bit tedious to read at first. It was lying around for a solid month after I finished the second chapter. Came back to it like a week ago and I’m getting used to Loaurdo’s writing now. Been really enjoying it the last few days, managed almost 50 pages today. 120 more to go. I’ll probably read some more Losurdo after this, specifically looking at “Liberalism, a counter history”. Reading feels good.
