I am currently hiding an NPC in plain sight. An Alhoon NPC is posing as an alternate reality version of a PC chronurgist using alter self and anti-divination magic. They haven’t found out yet but I’m also not giving many clues yet. He’s going to join the party on an adventure soon and then I’ll start dropping hints, like how parched he always is (alhoon skin is dry and cracked) or how he speaks in odd esoteric ways (he’s ancient).

I have a 2020 surface laptop that’s still performing admirably. I’ve been consistently using it the entire time and have seen no drop in performance, even after updating to Windows 11. Though I don’t use copilot, or many Windows apps for that matter…
