  • Uncommitted National Movement made it clear that they will not endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for the US presidency, but more importantly, that they discourage any moves that could lead to a second Trump administration - namely voting for a third party candidate.

They’re running interference for the Democrats. They don’t “endorse” Kamala, but say Trump must be stopped and don’t vote third party. Hmm…

    Why are they doing this?

This despite Green Party candidate Jill Stein being the favourite among Muslim-American voters in at least three swing states, and standing almost neck-and-neck with Harris nationwide, according to polling conducted late last month by the Council on American Islamic Relations.

Oh. Well that makes sense. Democrats are afraid of Jill Stein/Greens. According to liberal media/commentstors Stein a Russian puppet who is running the Green Party on Putin’s orders to hurt Democrats and help Trump.

  • Apparently we should also send ammo, artillery and missiles to Lebanon, too. EU should take in Lebanese refugees and give them all 6 year work permits, free travel and monthly allowance. After all, that is what real democracies do when other sovereign countries are invaded.

But on a serious note. France has said back in June they’d support the Lebanese Army should they wish to move south to the border to stop the escalation. Then right before the incursion/invasion France told Israel not to do it or they will have to support the Lebanese Army militarily. I guess nobody takes France seriously since their “send 2000 troops to Ukraine!” debacle. Lebanese Army is “repositioning and regrouping forces” in the south. France is nowhere to be seen and all they have managed to do is move a warship closer to Lebanon (or something like that, can’t find a link) and proposed a joke of a truce where Hezbollah moves 10km away from the border.

The “West” has lost its soft power on the world stage. Unlike the dominant Western narrative where Russia/Putin has created a dangerous and unsafe world where countries like China 👺 or Iran 👹 will start invading their neighbours, it is in fact Western-aligned Israel, the shining beacon of freedom and democracy in the Middle East with the most moral army in the world, that is genociding a people, killing hundreds of civilians in neighbouring countries, mistreating immigrants and generally being a violent apartheid state that isn’t afraid to murder their enemies and anyone around them no matter where they are in the world.

  • Perhaps Rumble is not enemy territory, but an opportunity. Cause while the people who run it and lots of content creators on it may be right-wing/fascist, that doesn’t mean that all the people visiting are. In fact, I’d say that most who visit aren’t. People are scared and confused, they’re looking for anything that makes sense and they can get behind. Communists should be providing that alternative. Speaking to people’s frustrations, understanding where they’re coming from and then offering an alternative to liberalism, fascism, conservatism.

  • I wouldn’t know, I think I watched a pro-RU video on the war in Ukraine on Rumble once, but I can’t remember. I don’t use it. I was just encouraging op that if they want to try something, they should. If they don’t like it, they can always stop using it.

Essentialist labels shut down curiosity, when really people should see things for themselves, otherwise how will they know? I’m not just talking about the internet, but I mean in real life too. How many times have we heard “that place? oh, that’s the _________ place.” and they don’t need to say “don’t go there”, but just by what they said and their tone the “…don’t go there” is implied. It’s a form of social pressure and a way to enforce conformity in a group. I’m sure most people who do it, do it subconsciously, either to protect the thought bubble in the group, thus strengthening the group, or for fear of losing a group member to another, incompatible interest. But I digress…

You could use it just as a platform but it has a far right bent because of its origins.

How do they handle leftist/communist content? I mean, do they censor opposing political ideologies or do they ban/delete leftist content? Because that’s the important bit. If they do censor leftist content, then they’re just a right-wing propaganda outlet.
