Ringu is a perfectly good movie. The remake isn’t bad either. It’s interesting to see the cultural differences in both movies. It’s also interesting how each movie tries to meet the viewing preferences of the local audience.

Some movie remakes are doomed to fail. cries Leave Oldboy alone. ;) I also can’t imagine a modern/ western remake of Seven Samurai. Or even a Pulp Fiction remake without Bruce Willis and not made by Tarantino.

Is remaking a sign for the lack of new original movie plots? I wouldn’t think so.

But OLED cat has a way faster metabolism, you will see it on your cat food bill. And older OLED cats are known to develop a greenish tint.

Roughly about 1/365 of all the things happen on each day of the year. Some even more frequently. I’m not surprised that movies scenes have been filmed during that day.
