Extreme Optimization: i.e. jeb is riding a command chair for 50 years
-
MORE is more: i.e. jeb is pulling 50 Gs to get to the mün TODAY

4·1 month agoKerbal Space Program, my one true love.
I’ve got a few games with 100-300 hours of playtime, but KSP is EASILY in the thousands, I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m over 10,000.
And before you ask, no, I’m not an expert, most of my rockets are named either “1.4.2.A.1(b)[rev. 5.0]” or “bendy fuckstick 9000 (mun)”
There are some small cracks across the grain in that piece, but i figure if they were a big problem, it would’ve manifested sometime in the last 50 years, so I’m not terribly concerned
The tan one appears to come from the furnace

So you have it forcibly memorized too? Nice nice
Lol yes we’ve got a toddler and infant, dusty just claims all their stuff

2·7 months agoI agree, the bulk ferment went a touch farther than I usually let it go, so the dough was quite gassy and fragile when I shaped them. I think that’s where most of the inconsistency started
I use my thoroughly abused starter, making a new one would be insanely wasteful and annoying
Thanks, this was a big batch, multiplied everything by 1.75, was a real forearm workout mixing it.
Overall it turned out quite nicely. Nice variety of colors and the crumb is the perfect texture.
Of course, I’m always chasing that beautifully airy, perfect loaf, but this is a pretty comfortable plateau I’m at
FWIW I don’t use a mixer, just a big-ass steel bowl and mix by hand. I’m inclined to say it isn’t too hard to do manually, but I’ve been doing it for years and don’t have any joint issues in my hands, so my perspective may be skewed
The real MVP here
I have the recipe shortened and copied somewhere, I’m just too lazy to track it down every time, especially since I largely operate from memory
Love it

1·9 months agoBingo. What bush did that rock come from? Not a clue, but that’s $2000 in glass and/or body work to repair

I’d have to experiment with the baking time, but that’s a damn good idea
