Great chapter like always but I wonder why the truck was still moving since Chikara was facing the truck. Maybe he didn’t have a full view of the truck since his parents were blocking it?

That last page made me laugh out loud. Weirdly enough this arc is probably the most hyped I’ve been, and that’s saying something given how stellar the previous arcs were. It’ll be really interesting to see how the Union fits in a civilian setting and not just fighting. Plus it’s nice to see Fuuko living the normal school life she always wanted. Also, I found it strange how early they tackled Chikara, considering that he joined the Union much later in the the last loop. While in this loop it’s still the early 2000s.
How does Yuu go from adorable puppy to killer rizz face in one chapter? He really is something else.
Awesome! Thanks so much!
Ngl page 15 probably was one of the most creative ways to use paneling that I’ve ever seen lol.
Is it just me or does this fight have the most exposition out of all the fights so far? I feel like for previous fights, usually most of the exposition was done to only introduce how a sorcerer’s cursed technique and domain expansion worked and maybe some stuff at the end detailing how a character would beat the other person’s cursed technique/domain expansion. We already know the gist of Gino’s and Sukuna’s powers before going into this fight but it feels like this fight has the most exposition thus far. Maybe I’m not a very sophisticated reader, but part of me feels like it ruins the pacing and flow of the fight while also making it hard to understand what is going on, needing to rely on the text instead of visual cues on how the fight progresses. Still, I think the art and dialogue is too-notch.
If there’s one thing I really love about this series, it’s how the author does a good job of showing sibling relationships. I like how Shion and Kengo aren’t afraid to show their love and affection for Futaba and the twins, but also aren’t afraid to insult her on the next page. Really shows to push and pull of sibling relationships.
Say what you will about Feng, but dude bought a crib for Mei lol.
I like Sakura but every time I see her I can’t help but see Yuu with twintails lol.
Hmm, if there’s anything I’ve learned from contest/tournament arcs, it’s that the last person to go usually wins. However, story wise I feel like there’s foreshadowing for Akane to also to lose to Hikaru. Whichever outcome happens will be interesting.
Gotta admit, I thought that they were going to use the power of family or something to free Alpha from Bad Alpha, not a frog hand puppet lol.
Awwww it’s nice seeing Chii thirsting over Taiki for once. Usually we only see Taiki being the one doing it.
If Nintendo makes a third game based off the BOTW map, I would love to see an expansion of towns/villages. One thing I was slightly disappointed by in TOTK was the lack of new villages. I’d love to see a revitalized castle town as well as repaired villages that were once in ruins. Maybe in that way the third game could have more focus on the different npcs and side quests like Majora’s Mask. I think in that way it would help the world feel more alive and we could see progress on the return to Hyrule at its heyday.
Man, how did we get from “Gojo’s so strong that Sukana is the challenger” to “”turns out Gojo was just another punk-ass bitch that Sukana could’ve beaten even without Mahoraga?” Given how op Gege has built up Sukana and Kenjaku I seriously wonder how they can even be defeat without doing an ass-pull.
