I figured out that I’m attracted to femeninity. What’s between the legs doesn’t really matter to me. My girlfriend told me that it makes me part of the community and not just an ally like I’ve always called myself.

What about if you think some trans women are gorgeous and you’d totally kiss them, but you’re not into penises? Would that fall into the same sort of category?

Not that it really matters because attraction is a very fluid thing that can be difficult to specify, but I’m curious.

Eh, you phrased it really ambiguously, in a way that suggests maybe you aren’t part of the community based on your knowledge. If you meant that you’re attracted to feminine gender identity regardless of biological sex, and you’re a dude, then you’re straight. But if you meant that you’re attracted to femboys, and you were using “what’s between the legs” as a colloquialism to represent gender identity, then you’re queer and you also need to work on speaking more accurately or people will think you’re a transphobe.
