I think to survive, mainstream Christianity in the future is going to soften on LGBT rights, but still shun promiscuity. It will be a little like how some parents of gay people in China mandate that they and their partner get married abroad and do surrogacy to have a child with the family’s genes.
I hope that’s what happens but what they actually want to do is much worse and they seem to be barreling ahead with little resistance.
