Now, she was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation which we were told we could never pass. And so she’s been, and her, her staff is interlocked with mine in terms of all the things we’re doing,
For everyone that said Harris was only VP and had no voice in Gaza and none of it was her decision.
You really can’t imagine being upset about genocide, can you?
You really can’t imagine answering a question, can you? I am upset about the ongoing genocide and the entire world’s governments giving Israel a free genocide pass. However, I am a realist, and I see that we have two options for president. One is super pro-genocide, and the other could maybe possibly be blamed for not stepping up to stop it. Hmm, should I go around on the internet bashing the latter?
If you ever consider asking one in good faith, maybe you’d get an answer.
Except the one you can hold accountable but won’t.
And you’re going to gloat endlessly about it, since the “good” option is giving Netanyahu the same pass.
There is no daylight between Harris and Biden on this, and Biden has made it perfectly clear that he supports whatever Netanyahu does without condition or reservation. Her policies and his policies regarding Gaza are identical. That disappoints me and not you, so you assume I must be a trumper.
Why would you? I don’t see you going around the internet bashing the former, either. You just bash people who are less than ecstatic about the latter in any way at all.
Hold on, did you think when I said “one is super pro-genocide” I was talking about Biden? That was about Trump. He fully supports wiping out Palestinians and uses the word Palestinian as a slur. Your options are that or Harris. My play is to vote Harris and then remain angry as she doesn’t take as hard of a line as I would want, assuming she actually makes it into office. What’s your play? I’m asking this in good faith, not just to stir up shit and argue online. Not voting, voting third party, or voting for Trump will definitely not stop the genocide. So what are we to do?
No, I thought you were talking about Trump. I don’t see you bashing him, just people who express displeasure at genocide.
Same. That doesn’t mean I have to go around calling anyone who isn’t 100% on board with genocide a fucking trumper.
And then you immediately do this:
And I have never advocated for any of these. Just because you immediately assume that anyone who has a problem with genocide is a trumper, that doesn’t make it the case.
I know! We should apply no pressure whatsoever to the Democratic Party or their candidate. That way, if Harris beats Trump while running on not changing a thing about US foreign policy as it pertains to the Gaza genocide, she can interpret our restrained tacit approval as a mandate from the people to continue supporting genocide.
Or we can register our disapproval, but you’ll assume that’s just trump support in all cases.
It’s just weird to me that when this topic comes up, y’all never throw out the comparison with Trump’s stance on the issue. It’s always focused solely on Biden/Harris. Anyway, have a good day and for the love of god vote for Harris.
When it comes up, it’s usually in the context of Biden/Harris. Trump is a giant piece of shit and I don’t want him to be president. Netanyahu is also a giant piece of shit and we shouldn’t be doing what he wants. When people bring up legitimate concerns about a literal fucking genocide and the response is “buh whubbut trump?” it sends the message that Democrats are completely uninterested in ever changing their unconscionable policy regarding Netanyahu’s genocide and just want the enforced silence of any dissent.
Already intend to, but since you are incapable of believing that someone can be outspoken about genocide without being a Trump supporter, you’ll never believe me.
No, I believe you. We don’t have to continue being impolite just because we’re on the internet.
Accusing people of being trumpers because they have a problem with genocide is truly the height of politeness.
