Absolutely not. I worked in a theatre for a summer and I thought I had a pretty good work ethic. As long as you weren’t rolling in with a pizza box clearly displayed, I’m not going to ask you for shit besides tickets. Do you have insulin in your backpack or an entire KFC dinner for 6? We will never know.

I had a party size bag of Doritos in the back of my T-shirt once, they let me right in.

On several occasions I’ve literally made eye contact with the ticket person, drink in hand, and not once have they ever said anything, at least not in recent years. Last time they paid the employees enough to care was in the 90s.

First off I wasn’t going to until you said something, second off I’m probably still not going to because honestly unless you’re blatantly eating a Big Mac in the middle of the lobby, no one gets paid enough to care. I’m a regular in my theater and I know that everyone knows.

I would search that hat for a third child. There’s no way that dude is not multiple kids in a hoodie/trench coat.

Fun fact bags of doritos, chips and similar are not allowed because they make too much noise in the movie theater

Imagine a whole crowd making their bags crack when reaching inside and munching loudly on doritos, it would be so damn awful

Then you have cinemas where people is having a full dinner. Of course you know what you get into and some noose is expected, not saying otherwise, but I found it amusing.

This is what happens when you don’t just circumvent the latch on the exit only door at the back of the theater and bring in your backpack full of snacks pilfered from the local walmart.

Nowadays you can even get the right door if you know the layout of the theater and use an app to check which screen is playing which movie and when.

But of course do not do this because it is illegal.

Yeah, I used to walk in with a rucksack full of snacks on discount day at lunchtime and then not leave until the cinema closed. No one even gave a rats ass you’d only bought one ticket once you’re inside.

Exactly. You guys really think they care? You just walk in with whatever you’re going to eat at showtime. You don’t have to camp out or sneak thru a door. It’s just a movie.
