Note that the trial was delayed from mid March to mid April at the defendants’ request to give them more time to prepare their case. That’s the latest update I know of.
And amusingly (or not), Google is censoring searches for him.
Are they? I just googled him and it seems to be a pretty neutral selection of news article, Wikipedia and even the mentioned link was link four or five (depending how you count the the first news section)
PS: I’m from Austria, maybe it’s different in the US

The problem is, anything Luigi related is actively being memory holed right in front of our eyes. Every big social media has either shadowbanned or hard banned the word “Luigi”, and “mario brothers”. The news all stopped reporting on him and people doing things related to him at the same time a few months ago. They\re very scared of what Luigi has done and they want us to go back to fighting their manufactured “culture war” bullshit so regular people don’t develop any sense of Class Consciousness.
Reddit just suspended me for liking too many pro-Luigi posts.
X also bans or shadow bans people randomly for supporting Luigi.
Same for Instagram, Facebook, and many others. Even Tiktok has suspended people for supporting Luigi.

I post luigi thirst videos and tiktok has decided to review almost every video i post. because a video of luigi’s perpwalk while bloodhound gang’s bad touch is playing in the background is glorifying violence i guess.

Mistrial doesn’t mean he gets out. It means that the trial starts over. He gets out with a not guilty verdict, and he gets out if the judge dismisses all the charges with prejudice (which can happen when there’s egregious prosecutorial misconduct, or gross violations of 4A rights).
Kind of surprised no one has taken a shot at the prosecutors yet. The right wing is always making death threats like that, seems.
