The whole “you have to condemn Hamas” and “we are defending ourselves” talking point is so outrageous. There were dozens of slave revolts and similar revolts against an occupying force that were completely justified and just as messy as what Hamas is doing. It is one thing to be a pro-Palestinian and not be happy about their tactics, but as victims of genocide, Palestinians have the right of violently defending themselves.
